Residential building "Jaklin", bul."Bulgaria", Sofia
Jacqueline is a modern residential building in one of the most prestigious quarters of Sofia, with beautiful view and comfortable disposition of each apartment. Jacqueline is placed in 58 “Bulgaria” Blvd. It has a solid constructional framework – beamless structure with bearing washers and pillars of reinforced concrete. The project investor and main executor is “Softbuild & Co” EOOD. The main activity of Sostbuild comprises design and construction of modern residential and administrative buildings. For the electrical part responsible is electro-engineer Vasko Milenkov, a member of the great family of “Softbuild & Co” EOOD. “Electro group” EOOD is the executor of the following types of electrical installations: power, lighting, grounding, lightning-protective, telephone, security-alarming, external power supply, structural cabling. The building was designed by “Aedes Studio” EOOD, led by the architect of Jacqueline, Plamen Pratkov. The main architectural aim of Jacqueline is to realize a unique dynamic unity of form, function, and influence, where the personal spaces of each individual are guaranteed. Residential building “Jacqueline” - Sofia received the audience award in the competition “Building of the year 2008”, organized by the newspaper “Building The City”, and is one of the four Bulgarian participants in the competition for the prestigious EU awards for modern architecture, bestowed by the foundation of "Mies van der Rohe". In the same time, the building won the bronze VIZAR for 2007.
